BCT is entering 34 funded agreements with willing landholders across New South Wales as a result of 3 Conservation Tenders this year. These cover about 11,200 hectares and are worth a total of $32.5 million, provided to landholders through annual payments for the term of the agreement, and consist of:
- 12 agreements in the Northern Inland; worth $4.7 million; covering 2,700 hectares,
- 11 agreements in the Murray-Riverina region; worth $13.1 million; covering nearly 5,000 hectares, and
- 11 agreements in the Central Tablelands region; worth $14.7 million; covering 3,500 hectares.
