Rob and Wendy Gribble have recently signed a conservation agreement for their property Royland, as part of the BCT’s fixed price offer.

NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean today announced that five Southern Highland landholders will be offered funded conservation agreements to protect and manage koala habitat on their land.

Belltrees is a property of over 120 hectares nestled below the cliffs of The Great Escarpment on the mid north coast of NSW. The Belltrees conservation agreement is one of the first agreements established with the BCT back in 2018. Since purchasing the property in 1983, owner Mike Richardson has dedicated almost 40 years to clearing invasive species from the 101-hectare valley of subtropical rainforest.

On 31 July 2020 the NSW environment minister Matt Kean announced the outcomes of the BCT’s recent Central West Rivers conservation tender.

In a new partnership with Landcare NSW, the BCT is providing $1.34 million over 2 years to fund a series of local projects and activities which will support conservation on private land.
